Speaker Profile

Dr. Eric I Tsao has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Synermore Biologics since founding the company in 2013. With more than 25 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, he has held leadership positions at Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca, and Morningside Group. His expertise includes biological product development, process design, facility engineering, and manufacturing operations. Dr. Tsao earned his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan.

“ Structural pharmacology of anthelmintics: Starting with monepantel and betaine”

📖 Biography:

Dr. Qingfeng Chen was a postdoctoral researcher at UTSW, where he focused on the structure and function of mammalian ion channels. He is currently a Principal Investigator at Yunnan University, China, where his research explores how anthelmintics exert their nematode-killing effects through integrated approaches involving structural biology, electrophysiology, and locomotion assays. Dr. Chen is also actively engaged in the discovery of novel therapeutics targeting both established and emerging drug targets.
